Born in Moscow, 1970
Once in January 1980, a student of the ballet studio of the Moscow Palace of Pioneers spied through the keyhole in the door mug sculpture. The door opened, a severe blow to 10-year-old ballerina forehead. Head of the circle said, "If you want to learn the art, it is better to do it on the other side of the door ..." Thus began the artistic career Oli Shahin - first the Palace of Pioneers, then art school and private lessons, and finally - Strohanivka, Department of monumental painting restoration. However, the restoration in the life of Olga quickly gives way to painting. "Faculty restoration was apparently chosen wrongly, but I thank my lucky stars for that mistake - says Olga, - experience restorer largely shaped me as an artist."
Already in the 19 years she takes part in a number of exhibitions, first with friends and then their own. Painting has become her life, she works day and night, almost without leaving the studio. A few casual acquaintances find buyers for her paintings in Tokyo, Los Angeles, Bonn, but her friends in Moscow and her family everything is kept secret ...
After graduating from ICEJ them. Stroganov Olga several years living and working abroad. Her painting is quickly gaining recognition among collectors. Solo exhibitions successfully held in well-known galleries in England, the USA, Germany, Hungary, Yugoslavia. Posters of her paintings printed by leading publishing houses and distributed worldwide. Along the way, Olga engaged in graphics, designs interiors of several stores in London cooperates with architectural firms in France and the Netherlands. But the main occupation is still painting.
Currently Olga lives and works in Moscow. Paintings by Olga Shahin are in the collections of the State Russian Museum, the State Literary Museum, private and corporate collections in Russia, the United States, Western Europe.
Olga is the winner of the Moscow exhibition-competition of contemporary art "Golden Brush - 2004".
